EDUCATION NEWS:

The Director of Education is Kevin Dell.

Kevin is charged with co-ordinating the educational opportunities being provided for our players with a view to raising the quality of that education and thus the quality of the players and musicians in the movement.

As part of a devlopment plan, he has a discussion document available here for download. Please read it and send comments directly to:

Downloadthe discussion document. (displays in Adobe Reader.) The document has a set of 18 objectives, and associated with each are action plans. Comments can be on the plans, or how to help implement them. For instance, the first objective is to develop a set of resources that are available similar to a library to enable BBANZ members to work on technical issues such as embouchure and fingering. You can comment on this, but it would also be appreciated if you could indicate how you could support the development of such a library.
